Elite Technical is seeking a Learning and Development Trainer who can facilitate both Virtual and In-Person training programs to ensure employees are equipped with the right skills, knowledge/abilities to perform their assigned tasks, strengthen current skills, and acquire new skills to meet current and future business demands. Both virtual Instructor-led and Instructor-led training programs are delivered to maximize reach and impact on the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Facilitates both virtual instructor-led & instructor-led training that reflect adult learning ideas to build capabilities and drive behavioral change and engage learners
- Utilizes business trends and post-learning evaluation to improve training content and delivery.
- Contributes to the development and maintenance of training materials.
- Partners with coordinators to maintain scheduling of training courses.
This is a contract to permanent opportunity with our customer, a premier Healthcare insurance organization. Although this position is primarily remote, there could be occasions to come onsite (1-2x per month) in Owings Mills MD. We are seeking candidates local to this location.
-Education Level: Bachelor's Degree OR In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
-Experience: 2 years experience delivering various training, adult learning modules to large audiences in both In-person and Virtual trainings.
-Must have MS Teams experience
-Must have strong writing and verbal communication skills
-Big Plus: Healthcare Knowledge OR Customer Service Rep training OR new product training
- Knowledge of adult learning delivery methods and principles.
- Knowledge and understanding of learning management systems (LMS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time. Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
