We are looking for a Full Stack SW Developer! You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing modifications to existing applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. You will play a key role on collaborative project teams, be responsible for the design and development of mission critical, enterprise-scale business systems.

Responsibilities:
- Designing, codes, and tests software modifications to address enhancement requests
- Coordinating and participates in system, integration, performance, and acceptance testing
- Maintaining shared responsibility for updating configuration documentation and related configuration management tools to track application changes
- Interacting with clients and users as required during daily activities
- Working as part of a team throughout the software development life cycle
- Collaborating with architects and analysts to implement enhancements or new applications
- Developing codes to meet user story acceptance criteria
- Creating test transactions and runs unit tests
- Conducting design and code reviews to ensure compliance with standards
- Maintaining records to document program development and revisions
- Providing evening and weekend support for outages and production deployments

This position is a long term contract position. Although fully remote now, we are seeking candidates that reside in Maryland or Virginia or Washington DC as our client is seeking candidates to come onsite 1x per month starting Mid 2025.

Required Skills

- Bachelors Degree is required. 8+ years of Full Stack Java Development is required. Tech Stack Includes:

1. Angular version 11+ & React
2. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
3. Java 11 or 17 or 21 5+ years- experience in application development using Java/JEE and related technologies (Spring Boot Framework required)
4. Experience developing REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML Web Services
5. Experience working in a cloud environment (preferably AWS) is preferred (not required)
6. Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development
7. Ability to independently investigate, troubleshoot, design, and develop solutions
8. Solid written and oral communication skills to interact with business and technology teams
9. DB2/UDB, PostGRES
10. DevOps Experience (CI/CD, Jenkins)
