Sales Representative, Technical Services

Elite Technical provides IT and Engineering staffing services to mid-size and large businesses, mostly on the east coast. We are currently seeking a full-time Business Development professional to become a part of our growing sales team. Individuals seeking a position in sales where you can drive your own outcomes and earnings are encouraged to apply.

The candidate must possess a proven ability to prospect, develop business, build relationships, communicate in oral and written communication, and actively network.

In addition, they must demonstrate a strong customer focus and personal leadership, and solid negotiation and presentation skills. Individuals experienced in sales and account managers who are persistence and have a strong drive to win over new clients and build new business are the ideal fit for this position.

Our plan is to hire someone who can ramp quickly.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

The primary focus for this Business Development Sales Professional position is to bring in new business so we can grow our business.

- Develop and execute a Business Development plan
- Obtain a thorough understanding of company services and cross-selling opportunities
- Identify and develop leads into new accounts through prospecting and lead follow-up
- Conduct outbound calls
- Maintain customer records, using our custom cloud-based CRM

Required Skills

- 3+ years of successful outside sales / territory management experience
- Fearless attitude and uninhibited ability to pick up the phone and place outbound prospect calls
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to travel 25%
- Creative problem solver
- Self-starter that can work independently or with a team
- Some technical knowledge in the area of IT or Engineering
- Network of existing contacts preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations that have a positive impact
- Demonstrated strategic planning, organizational, and leadership skills
- A passion for technology, with an attitude of service
