Elite Technical is seeking an IT field service specialist for a contract position in Austin, TX. The work involves the repair of equipment and components at field locations and customer sites. Due to the nature of the work performed for this client and it's end customers, any candidate seeking to be considered must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to hold a Top Secret government clearance. Preference will be given to candidates with an active clearance.
Provide on-site technical support for software and hardware installs, hardware moves, add or changes of hardware/software for the end-user community.
Address Incident tickets to include break/fix issues.
Provide mobile device support to include iPhone/ iPad/Blackberry/ Droid.
Resolve printer issues namely toner replacement, paper jams, connectivity issues and printer maintenance.
Update asset inventory via ticketing system database.
Working knowledge and experience with Active directory.
Provide desk-side assistance to executive staff.
Writing and/or editing existing procedures.
Basic network troubleshooting.
Provide basic telephone support.
6+ years of relevant experience with high school diploma or 3+ years of experience with AA.
CompTIA A+ and Dell certifications required. Ability to obtain Network + certification.
