Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has an immediate opening for a Secret cleared ARM Software Engineer in their Scottsdale, AZ office. The ARM Software Engineer will be part of our client's Boards team within Advanced Electronics Systems responsible for developing commercial boards for the defense industry.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop high-quality software for ARM-based systems
- Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues
- Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers to deliver innovative solutions
- Work on Board Support Packages (BSP) for new FPGA based HW
- Enjoy a dynamic and supportive work environment

Required Skills

- Must be US Citizen due to government requirement
- Must have an active Secret Clearance
- Requires a Bachelor-s degree in Software Engineering, or a STEM field and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Strong experience with ARM architecture and development
- Strong experience with AMD Vitis Toolset
- Strong experience with embedded Linux
- Strong experience with PetaLinux
- Strong experience with Make
- Strong experience desired with x86 architecture
- Proficiency in programming languages like C and C++
- Solid understanding of Board Support Packages (BSP)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
