Elite Technical is seeking a Azure Data Analyst to support our clients Modern Data Platform. The selected candidate will work with all or part of modern and emerging data architecture capabilities such as change data capture, structured and unstructured data storage, streaming/IOT data movement, API frameworks, modern data integration, cloud enablement, AI/MI cloud components, metadata management, and data quality/data governance tools.

This will be a collaborative role in a 3 phase process. Phase 1 involving more knowledge work (less development), conducting interviews, collecting information to then be implemented in subsequent phases. The contractor needs to be comfortable and familiar with the design process for architecture and integration solutions incorporating various of aspects of how data is used. In phases 2 & 3 they will be a coordinator, identifying complexities, and must be able to convey this to the offshore developers.

This is not a developer role, but more of a technical analyst. We are seeking candidates that reside in the EST timezone (CST or MST is secondary options) as this is fully remote.

Required Skills

- US citizenship or ability to work in the US with an ability and willingness to pass a background check
- 5-8 years of experience as a Data Analyst
-Experience with Azure Data Factory
-Cloud environment experience including Azure, AWS, and Google
- Experience with creating and maintaining data architecture business/technical specification documentation
- Experience gathering functional and technical data architecture requirements
- Experience with designing and developing data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory
- Experience with designing and operating within the Azure Data Platform
- Experience with supporting PowerBI reporting solutions
- Experience with defining and developing advanced API based data extractions
- Experience writing/executing test cases, conducting integration/systems/UAT testing

- Familiarity with core Power & Utilities data and systems
