Immediate need for a Senior Business Analyst who will be assisting our customer, a major healthcare insurance organization in the DMV area, with a Conversational AI rollout project. The selected candidate will have the responsibility to ensure that the business's need for changes to processes, policies and/or information systems are identified, understood, defined, documented and acted upon by eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, specifying and verifying the needs of business or user. The incumbent is accountable for the gathering and synthesizing of business requirements for moderate complexity software, systems, processes and/or services and translates them into specifications ensuring the business objectives are met. As the functional expert, the incumbent serves as a strategic conduit between the business area and the technical or software development team through which requirements flow.

This position is a contract to permanent opportunity. Although a remote opportunity, we are only seeking candidates that reside in the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area for occasional onsite meetings (1x per quarter).

Required Skills

Qualification Requirements:
-5+ years as a Business Analyst. Bachelor's Degree (In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience)
- Background in developing requirements for conversational artificial intelligence would be a BIG PLUS
- Knowledge in requirements related to User Interfaces is required.
- Experience working as part of a Scrum team is required.
- Expertise with requirements management tools: Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint
- Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences.
- Strong experience owning end-to-end documentation creation process (creating documentation from scratch as the sole BA on the team is required)
- Experience in the healthcare insurance industry is Required.
- Well-developed functional and business knowledge of Salesforce.
