Fulltime/Permanent opportunity for a Data Analytics Manager! We are seeking local candidates to the Olympia, WA area to accommodate a 2-3 day per week onsite requirement. Our client, a NCQA Accredited Population Health Management organization that is focused on Value Based Healthcare, is seeking a Microsoft focused, Data Analytics Manager to lead a team of seven (more in the future) Data Professionals for day-to-day data governance and data-related projects.

The selected candidate will lead and manage the team responsible for building, managing, and enhancing data platforms, portfolio of data services, and data analytics. Effectively implementing and managing the company-s data systems is critical to delivering company services and company growth. Your role is a highly visible, strategic leadership role that has the potential to drive significant business impact. You will conceive, develop, and implement data strategy in close collaboration with the Chief of Digital Health, the IT infrastructure team, and stakeholders across the business. You will lead the team that manages the companys Microsoft-based data infrastructure to ingest, secure, transform, standardize, and enrich data; and to provide timely and accurate data reporting, analytics, and exports. You will develop policies and procedures to govern data systems and guide data management practices. You will oversee and direct relationships with third-party contractors and service providers. You will keep abreast of industry best practices and technology trends, and you will define improvements to data models, sources, processes, practices, and skillsets to modernize and scale the company-s data management and analytics.

Required Skills

- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or other related field)
- Seeking around 10 years of total experience, preferable within the Data Analytics field, with a minimum of 3 years as a Team Lead or Manager or Director of Data focused professionals (analysts, architects, developers etc-). Hands on technical to manager evaluation is highly desirable
- Ability to build out data governance structures and being part of data governance committees is preferred
- Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps to manage epics, features, backlogs, and sprints.
- Seeking a Microsoft focused professional. SQL Server and Microsoft data platform development and management experience, including deep knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Must have basic knowledge around Healthcare insurance standards/procedures (FHIR implementation, HL7, claims processing etc-)

- Experience in Agile Methodologies and Sprint planning
- Proven ability to manage a team of technical professionals working on-premises and remotely.
-Ability to explain data platform architecture and strategy in plain language that management and end users can understand.
