Elite Technical is seeking a Data Engineer! The selected candidate will build and maintain a dbt-driven clinical data mart that ingests raw EHR feeds and delivers clean, conformed models-enabling seamless joins with HR systems, public datasets, and more. Key Responsibilities:

** dbt Pipelines: Develop staging, intermediate, and semantic layers following dbt best practices (testing, docs, CI/CD).
** EHR Transformation: Normalize HL7/FHIR or proprietary schemas into canonical entities (patients, encounters, orders).
** Data Modeling: Create conformed dimensions and fact tables that abstract EHR specifics.
** Quality & Automation: Implement dbt tests and integrate with CI/CD and orchestration tools (Airflow/Prefect).
** Collaboration: Partner with clinical informaticists and BI teams to validate data and shape requirements.

Required Skills

- 4+ years in cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift)
- 4+ years of hands-on dbt development (models, tests, docs, CI/CD)
- Strong SQL and familiarity with data structures
- Python for macros/custom transforms
- Experience with workflow orchestration and data quality frameworks

- Healthcare reporting (MIPS/MACRA)
- Integration of non-clinical sources (HRIS, public health)
- HL7/FHIR
- Any Cloud API EHR experience (BIG PREFERNECE)
- Any AI or ML experience
- Healthcare industry experience
