Our client, a multinational telecommunications technology company has an urgent and immediate need for a DevOps Specialist to provide regular project updates, clarifying requirements, and ensuring alignment with business needs.

This will be a long-term contract and requires you to be onsite 3-days per week in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including data engineering, ETL development, testing, and business stakeholders.
- Drive end-to-end project execution, ensuring high-quality data solutions and smooth delivery.
- Manage intake requests, work with product owners/business teams to define and refine requirements, and translate them into actionable testing tasks.
- Oversee and enhance data validation and testing processes to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.
- Identify risks related to delivery timelines, escalate issues as needed, and drive mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to testing frameworks, automation strategies, and industry best practices for data validation and ETL testing.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot ETL workflows, optimize data pipelines, and validate data transformations.
- Monitor and track key milestones, proactively addressing project roadblocks and dependencies.
- Implement process improvements and automation solutions to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and accuracy.

Required Skills

- BS Degree in a STEM field
- Minimum 5 years of DevOps exp.
