Our client, a multinational Cruise line is seeking a Director of Digital Workplace Services for End User Computing and Service Desk is a critical leadership role within the modern enterprise, responsible for shaping, delivering, and continually improving the digital experience for employees. This position sits at the intersection of technology, business operations, and user engagement, orchestrating the seamless integration of tools, processes, and support structures that empower users to work efficiently and securely from anywhere!
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of end user computing (EUC) platforms and service desk operations. The Director ensures that employees have access to reliable, innovative, and secure digital tools, and that support for these services is responsive, user-centric, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a forward-looking vision for digital workplace services, aligning technology investments with organizational goals and employee needs.
- End User Computing (EUC) Management: Oversee the selection, deployment, and management of end user devices, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Service Desk Leadership: Direct and enhance the global IT service desk function, delivering exceptional user support across multiple channels (phone, chat, email, self-service).
- Digital Workplace Transformation: Lead enterprise initiatives to modernize the digital workplace, enabling flexible work arrangements and enhancing employee productivity.
- Vendor & Budget Management: Oversee vendor relationships for EUC hardware, software, and managed services, ensuring alignment with service levels and contractual obligations.
- Governance, Risk, & Compliance: Ensure all digital workplace services comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards for data protection, privacy, and security.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for digital workplace matters with senior leadership, department heads, and business partners.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in end user computing, service desk, or digital workplace leadership roles.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale workplace transformation projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of ITIL, device management platforms, cybersecurity principles, and cloud-based productivity solutions.
- Strong financial acumen and vendor management expertise.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
