ECM Strategy Consultant


Immediate contract opportunity for an ECM Strategy Consultant to support our client, a major Federal Healthcare Insurance organization. The selected candidate will apply business consulting, analytical, communications, and creative skills to help stakeholders articulate enterprise content management (ECM) needs and pain points; identify opportunities for improvement; and visualize future business operations and use cases for enterprise content management. You-ll partner with business leaders, product teams, and domain architects to develop a comprehensive and compelling vision and strategy, as well as requirements and process improvements for enterprise content management at FEPOC.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Roadmap, Planning, Vision and Strategy - Lead development of a comprehensive vision and strategy for enterprise content management
- Current State Assessment - Lead preparation of an ECM Landscape Assessment that clearly describes content services capabilities, assesses their performance and maturity, and assesses the health and status of associated people, process, and technology enablers.
- Target Architecture - Provide thought leadership in the preparation of a clear, compelling conceptual architecture and concept of operations for ECM that aligns with enterprise architecture.
- Platform Requirements - Lead development of content management platform requirements and selection criteria.
- Solution Alternatives Assessment
- Business Case and Call to Action

At the outset, this 1 year+ contract opportunity will be 100% remote with no travel requirements. However, once our client goes back onsite (targeted mid 2022) the selected hire will have to travel to Washington DC on a monthly basis for strategy meetings.

Required Skills


- 11+ years of experience leading holistic, transformational, vision and strategy engagements within the technology sector.
- Expertise / experience assessing, selecting and deploying enterprise content management (ECM) or content services solutions.
- Deep understanding of content service, content management, and/or knowledge management capabilities, frameworks, and processes.
- Ability to motivate and influence others so that project objectives are met in a timely manner.
- Effective organizational, interpersonal/relationship management, analytical, communications (written and verbal), and collaboration. Ability to effectively communicate and engage with C-level executives
