Elite Technical is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the space line of business for our client's Electronic Solutions sector located in Manassas, VA. Products include semiconductor components, ASICS, Circuit Card Assemblies and Sub-Systems for civil and national security space missions. The engineer in this position will design digital circuit cards and sub-systems for space missions.
Assigned tasks will include:
•Requirement Definition/Evaluation
•Specification/Design Documentation
•Schematic Capture
•Layout/Routing
•Design Analysis ensuring full compliance to specifications and applicable guidelines
•Test Support
•Customer Support

Required Skills

•BS in Electrical Engineering (MS in Electrical Engineering preferred)
•8 years experience designing electrical circuits/products including schematic capture, layout & routing.
•Experience with circuit analysis including de-rating, logic compatibility, timing and signal integrity analysis
•Experience designing IPC Class 3 CCAs
•Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Highly motivated

Preferred:
•Experience with Cadence tool suite (Allegro, Sigrity, etc)
•Experience with Hyperlynx
•Experience with card design in the space industry
•Experience with worst case analysis in the space industry
•Experience designing complex, high density IPC Class 3A CCAs
