Email Campaign Quality Analyst (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

Immediate Need for a Email Campaign Quality Analyst that will provide quality assurance reviews, input and other support throughout the process of developing, coding and launching email/SMS/PUSH campaigns and related landing pages. This role involves reviewing email/SMS/PUSH campaigns and related landing pages for content and copy accuracy, rendering quality, and subscriber segmentation and delivery accuracy and communicating all inconsistencies back to the appropriate resource for correction. In addition, the Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the Digital Marketing's quality assurance documentation, automated tools, and other resources, along with testing Salesforce Marketing Cloud applications.

Responsibilities:
- Work with the marketing team to understand key campaign parameters and inputs, such as subscriber audience, program frequency, degree of personalization and overall creative approach and develop an appropriate, campaign-specific testing approach
- Perform functional testing of the email (clicking links, confirming tracking data, etc.) to confirm accuracy using : Litmus and / or Return Path
- Review key aspects of the email design, build and deployment processes to ensure optimal quality, including:
1. Email construction and coding using a combination of manual and automated review processes
2. Email editorial and creative content, including copy and visual elements
3. Subscriber data import and segmentation, including dynamic content and data-driven personalization
4. Deployment configuration, including subject lines, audience selection, and send date and time
5. Testing Salesforce Marketing cloud applications

This position is a contract position with the possibility of conversion to permanent employment with our customer, a major Healthcare Insurance organization in downtown NYC. Required Skills

- BA/BS in Computer Science, English, Journalism, or related field; or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency preferred
- Hands-on experience SFMC Multi Channel (Email Studio, Jouney Builder, Audience Builder, Interactive Studio, CloudPages, Einstein, and Mobile Studio), Salesforce Marketing Cloud Connector, and integration management
- Strong working knowledge of SOAP and REST data transmission protocols
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and SOQL queries for data retrieval and testing
- 5 years experience performing data entry, executing test scripts and processes, or writing test plans
- 5+ years' experience with developing SQL with a RDBMS such as MySQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server
- 5+ years' experience with HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript
- 2+ years' experience with SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration techniques.
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and customer deadlines with minimal oversight
- Ability to decipher digital and non-digital assets and understand how components interrelate
- Strong written and verbal communication and problem solving skills with an impeccable eye for detail
- Good understanding of latest trends in processes efficiencies and methodologies
- Deep knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
