Estate Planning Attorney


We are seeking a seasoned Estate Planning attorney with a strong background in wills, trusts, probate, and asset protection strategies. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing complex client matters, cultivating strong relationships, and providing clear, empathetic legal guidance. This role requires exceptional drafting,
analytical, and client service skills, along with the ability to
generate and retain clients.

Key responsibilities include:
- Meet with clients to assess needs, explain legal options, and develop tailored estate plans.
- Draft, review, and revise wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related documents.
- Advise on estate tax implications, asset protection, charitable giving, and business succession planning.
- Represent clients in probate proceedings and trust administration.
- Maintain and grow a strong client base through relationship-building, referrals, and community engagement.
- Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Collaborate with paralegals, assistants, and other attorneys to ensure client case handling

Required Skills


- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in New York.
- 3+ years of estate planning experience (including probate and trust administration).
- Strong client management and relationship-building skills.
- Exceptional drafting, research, and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to retain and grow a client base.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and empathy when working with clients on sensitive matters.
