Seeking a Graphic Designer who is skilled in the creation and editing of effective marketing, advertising and communications solutions with an excellent command of layout, typography, iconography, and information architecture. The designer helps concept and create a variety of multi-channel campaigns, print and digital marketing collateral including brochures, booklets, flyers, presentations, corporate identity and other communications materials.
Majority of this position is around Graphic Editing & Production - Responsible for concepting, designing and producing a variety of marketing communications for print, environmental and digital as well as other collateral and advertising campaign materials. Contributes to the continual improvement of the creative production workflow, processes and systems of the Creative Team including the structure and organization of design files. Document processes and best practices. Works with vendors and partners such as printers, agencies and others to complete production and fulfillment of projects.
This position is a 1+ year contract with our Healthcare customer in Canton, Maryland. Weekly office visits is required on Wednesdays, along with a design portfolio.
- Experience: 5 years of Graphic Design/Editing experience.
-Must have a portfolio or work examples that demonstrates a proficiency in creating compelling marketing communications for a wide variety of media and audiences
- Experience working in a marketing department, in-house creative team or advertising agency.
-Must have Software: PowerPoint and Adobe Design Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)

1. Strong Prepress & File Preparation Knowledge: Must understand proper file setup for print and digital, including bleeds, trim, color modes (CMYK/RGB/spot), resolution requirements, and exporting/packaging files correctly for vendors.
2. Advanced Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Deep working knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop - including master pages, paragraph/character styles, grids, linked assets, smart objects, and efficient file management.
3. Exceptional Attention to Detail: Ability to catch inconsistencies, maintain strict brand standards, ensure alignment/spacing accuracy, and serve as the final quality-control checkpoint before files are released.
4. Versioning & Asset Management Experience: Comfortable producing high volumes of variations (resizing, copy swaps, localization), managing naming conventions, and keeping files organized within established systems.
5. Efficiency & Process-Driven Workflow: Able to work quickly within templates and brand systems, follow established processes, manage tight deadlines, and deliver production-ready files with minimal oversight.
