Immediate need for Tier I Help Desk professional to provide IT Surge support. The end user client (a US Federal Gov't service provider) has multiple ongoing IT initiatives and business acquisitions occurring right now. The organizations internal IT staff needs immediate onsite, IT Helpdesk support for their end user community, tasks include; provisioning and imaging devices for new hires, end user support, peripheral support, access requests, troubleshooting, etc..
100% Onsite in Alexandria VA, 6 month contract with expected extensions and a strong potential for the end user client to make an offer to join their IT staff as full time associate.
The end user client organization is in growth mode. Local travel requirement may include driving over to Lorton, VA as directed. Expected hours, Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM.
- The Tier 1 Help Desk resources will be responsible for provisioning and imaging devices for about 15-20 new hires per week, supporting Office 365 access issues, basic Active Directory including password resets, account creation and decommissioning and software installs.

Tier 1 Helpdesk Resource:
Qualifications: (3+ years- experience in IT Helpdesk support role)
- Skillset: O365 access issues, AD, password resets, account creation/decom, software installs
Relevant credentials including education and certification will be given preference.
Due to Federal requirements, must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a DoD clearance. Due to the travel requirement between Alexandria and Lorton, must have a valid license and reliable transportation.
