Help Desk Professionals

Immediate need for Tier I and Tier II Help Desk professionals to provide IT Surge support. The end user client (a US Federal Gov't service provider) has multiple ongoing IT initiatives and business acquisitions occurring right now. The organizations internal IT staff needs immediate onsite, IT Helpdesk resources to support their end user community, tasks include; assisting with backlogged service requests, end user support, peripheral support, access requests, trouble shooting, etc.. We are looking to fill four openings, two Tier 1 and two Tier 2 openings.

Contract specs on these positions includes, on-site in Alexandria VA, 6 month contracts with expected extensions and a strong potential for the end user client to make an offer to join their IT staff as full time associates. The end user client organization is in growth mode. Local travel requirement includes driving over to Lorton, VA as directed. Expected hours, Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM.

- The Tier 1 Help Desk resources will be responsible for supporting Office 365 access issues, basic Active Directory including password resets, account creation and decommissioning and software installs.
- The Tier 2 Help Desk resources will be responsible for building deployment packages through SCCM, BMC client management - printers, imaging laptops. Helping users enroll in Intune

Required Skills

Tier 1 Helpdesk Resource (3+ years- experience in IT Helpdesk support role)
- Skillset: O365 access issues, AD, password resets, account creation/decom, software installs

Tier 2 Helpdesk Resource (5-7+ years- experience in IT Helpdesk support role)
- Skillset: Building deployment packages through SCCM, BMC client management - printers, imaging laptops. Helping users enroll in Intune

Relevant credentials including eduction and certificaton will be given preference.

Due to Federal requirements, must be a US Citizen to be considered. Due to the travel requirement between Alexandria and Lorton, must have a license and reliable transportation.
