Seeking a Certified SAFE Scrum Master!! Selected candidate will lead multiple technology focused, cross functional teams for our customer, a major Federal Healthcare insurance provider in Reston VA (position requires to be onsite 1x per week in Reston VA).

The selected candidate will be working supporting Agile and Kanban related methodologies, guiding the development team on how to use Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum and Lean(e.g. Kanban) values/practices through servant leadership. Creates and nurtures a culture of continuous learning, growth mindset and agile maturity in teams/ART through agile practices, agile mindset, metrics, SAFe guidelines, removes blockers and partners with leadership. Exhibits and permeates the behaviors of a Lean-Agile Leader with a Lean-Agile Mindset.

Required Skills

- Must have: SAFe Scrum Master Certification
- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
- Experience: 8+ years of overall experience. 5+ years as a Scrum Master in the use of Lean, Agile SAFE methodologies. Proven success leading multiple Agile TECHNOLOGY FOCUSED teams to agile maturity and improved customer outcomes.
- Seeking a technology focused (not processed focused) IT Scrum Master. Must have strong knowledge in Java, Angular, React, Spring Boot Framework, AWS, etc-
- Must have Jira
- Scrum Master on a SAFe Agile Release train Leading Change and continuous improvement, working with a cross functional team by applying lean agile methods
- Experience doing value stream mapping, system level optimizations etc. applying Theory of Constraints and other Lean techniques
-Knowledge of Lean Agile values, principles and practices
-Knowledge of Lean agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban
-Knowledge of Scaling frameworks like SAFe
-Knowledge of Product Ownership, DevOps, Test Automation practices etc...
- Excellent communication skills written and oral

Preferred:
- One or more: ML and AI background, BI MicroStrategy, AWS Ecosystem (SageMaker, EKS, EC2), Healthcare industry background
