Elite Technical is seeking a IT Support / Helpdesk Technician in the Chicago, IL area! Our client is seeking a IT Support Professional that can provide company-wide Helpdesk, IT troubleshooting, and asset management support. Responsibilities include:
- Setting up workstations for new employees: Both onsite and remote
- IT Asset Management: Tracking, distributing and retrieving IT equipment
- Hardware Support: Printers, cameras, work stations, etc..
- Software Support: Windows and MAC OS troubleshooting
- Networking Support: Wifi, WAN/LAN
- Other duties as assigned
This position is a hybrid opportunity (2x per week onsite, Mondays are mandatory onsite for new employee engagement).

- Minimum 5 years of Help Desk / Desktop Support experience
- Strong troubleshooting experience with HW (printers, cameras, workstations, etc..) and Network connectivity (LAN/WAN) issues. Able to VPN into workstations for troubleshooting support
- Strong Software troubleshooting experience: MS Windows AND MAC OS
- Asset Management experience (tracking, distributing, collecting outgoing/incoming IT equipment)
- Excellent customer services skills required and prior experience as a help desk technician
- Strong communication and time management skills
