Seeking an Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for Configuration, Administration, troubleshooting of Tomcat and WebSphere Web Servers. The selected candidate will (1) provide technical support, Troubleshooting and Diagnostics for day-to-day maintenance related activities, and (2) perform automation scripting related tasks to assist with a data migration effort from WebSphere to Tomcat. Essential functions:

- Performs installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology
- Manages system/application environment and ongoing operations
- Provide Scripting for automation (Ansible preferred) tasks to support a migration from WebSphere to Tomcat
- Ensures that the technologies are updated with current, stable, and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards
- Researches, designs, implements, and tests technology solutions
- Proactively monitors and reports performance and utilization of assigned technologies
- Troubleshoots software and/or hardware issues/failures
- Resolves alerts and performs remediation activities
- Manages problem or escalated tickets and tasks and out of cycle requests from systems/software owners

Required Skills

Required:
- 8+ years as an Infrastructure Engineer with a minimum of 5 year administration experience in both Tomcat v11.1 and WebSphere web servers.
-Strong Scripting and Automation experience utilizing Ansible is required.
-Experience in supporting WebSphere Application Server across multiple operating systems to include design, deployment and management as well as application migrations
- Experience administering Middle-tier systems using WebSphere Application Server (WAS) 8.0/9/0, IBM HTTP Server
-Experience automating the configuration of servers / virtual machines with solutions such as Ansible or equivalent
- Strong UNIX experience.

Big Plus:
-Python scripting
- Troubleshooting DataPower domain application issues and certificate crypto object issues. Installation and configuration of DataPower Appliances.
- Experience with MQSeries installation and administration
- Experience in Pega
- Configure and administration of IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower appliances.
