Join a premier federal defense contractor developing the next generation of mission-critical technology for the U.S. Navy. We're seeking a Jr-level Infrastructure Engineer with a HW oriented background, e.g., EE/ME/Computer Engineering to become part of an agile team responsible for delivering a robust, flexible, secure, and stable infrastructure for U.S. Navy surface ships.
You will develop and configure common solutions to complex problems, test and troubleshoot in a lab environment, and create documentation to support a rigorous engineering process. You'll meet with your team daily to collaborate and problem solve to ensure we meet our commitments to the U.S. Navy mission.
What You'll Do:
The Systems Engineer is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving system design weaknesses, developing system security documentation, and providing system accreditation/certification evaluation and test support.

- Evaluate systems and networks to ensure they meet strict government security standards

- Collaborate daily with an agile team, solving problems together and staying aligned with mission goals
- Help shape engineering frameworks and best practices used across multiple systems and future projects

- U.S. Citizenship is required due to government security clearance requirements.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months of relevant experience.

- Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
