Junior Mechanical Engineer - Regional Strike Programs

Our client, a leading Aerospace and Defense contractor, is looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer ready to make a real impact on critical Navy platforms. This is a hands-on opportunity to design, build, and test the mechanical systems that support national security missions, while growing alongside experienced engineers who will help sharpen your skills.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, and test mechanical devices, tools, engines, and machines used in advanced defense systems
- Join a cross-functional team supporting the full lifecycle of equipment development: design, testing, implementation, build, and installation
- Contribute directly to multiple Navy platforms, seeing your work move from concept to real-world deployment
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers, program leads, and technical specialists across disciplines

Required Skills

- U.S. Citizenship is required due to government security clearance requirements.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
- Experience with Creo. Ansys is desired also
- Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes, engineering standards, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to engineering challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a passion for working in a team environment.
