ML RCA Specialist

Our Client, a multinational telecommunications technology company has an urgent and immediate need for a ML Based Root Cause Analysis Specialist - Core Network Analytics.

This position is 100% onsite and can be staffed in Snoqualmie, WA or Plano, TX.

This role is responsible for configuring, tuning, and validating ML based Root Cause Analysis (RCA) capabilities using Core Network Fault Management data. The focus is on alarm clustering, correlation, and RCA signature generation for Packet Core network functions, operating as an embedded analytics capability rather than a standalone platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and tune ML based correlation and clustering logic for FM alarms.
- Train RCA models using historical Core Network alarm data.
- Generate and refine RCA signatures and parent/child alarm relationships.
- Work closely with automation engineers to consume normalized PM + FM datasets.
- Validate RCA outputs with Core Network domain experts.
- Optimize model accuracy and reduce false positives/negatives.
- Produce RCA outputs consumable by operational tooling and workflows.

Required Skills

Required Technical Skills:

- Strong experience with ML based alarm correlation and RCA techniques.
- Hands on experience working with telecom Fault Management data.
- Knowledge of time series analysis, clustering, and statistical correlation.
- Understanding of Packet Core architectures and failure modes.
- Ability to operate in offline and pre production analytics environments.

Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience delivering RCA or assurance analytics in telecom networks.
- Exposure to Nokia Core Network alarm models.
- Background in Service Assurance, Network Assurance, or AIOps.
