Our client, a Healthcare payor organization, is seeking a Healthcare focused, Member Engagement/Sales Representative Team Lead to support, develop, implement, measure and optimize strategies that target postal and federal employee/retiree market segments. The selected candidate will be a team lead to four (4) other sales members on the team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading member engagement strategies that will give the company visibility in the consumer markets. Additionally, developing relationships with federal and postal agency human resources representatives that lead to growth opportunities during Open Season. The selected candidate will be responsible for field communication with members and perspective members. Being in the field will provide our member base with an in-person and virtual platform to inquire on benefits and enrollment. Additionally, assisting Program and Benefits Consultants in increasing the market share by driving marketing strategies for new membership.
This position requires extensive travel (est. 50%) to the local DC/MD/VA market, and nationwide. Travel is sporadic/random, with certain peak and off-peak seasons.

- Able to travel locally (DC, MD, VA) and nationally (avg. 50%, random travel with peak and off-peak seasons)
- Bachelor-s degree in Health Administration/Marketing or related field
- 8 years of experience in marketing, sales, or related field.
- 3 years in a team lead capacity, managing staff in day to day activities (travel scheduling, dispute resolution, presentation management, etc-)
- Able to analyze healthcare and/or marketing data to assist with market strategies
- Proven experience with effective oral presentations in front of large and small audiences
- Health insurance industry experience is required.
- Federal Healthcare Insurance, Postal Workers Unition, or similar is preferred (not required)
