Nifi Architect

Elite Technical is seeking a NiFi Architect to support our client in Philadelphia PA. Although this position is primarily remote, the first week of employment will be onsite in Philadelphia PA with possible onsite meetings throughout the 11 month engagement.

Responsibilities include:

- Design and implement robust data ingestion and transformation workflows using Apache NiFi.
- Develop scalable and secure architectures for real-time and batch data processing.
- Optimize NiFi performance, including load balancing, clustering, and failover strategies.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to define integration requirements.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards across all data flows.

Required Skills

- Proven experience as an Apache NiFi Architect or similar role in data integration.
- Strong understanding of NiFi architecture, processors, and flow design principles.
- Expertise in Java or Python for custom NiFi processors and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with data security, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
