SSIS Developer


Seeking a SSIS Developer to support our customer, a NCQA Accredited, Population Health Management organization that is focused on Value Based Healthcare. We are seeking candidates We are seeking candidates that can develop complex SSIS packages and analyze the results of those efforts. We are seeking candidates that understand and use SQL Server and non-SQL SSIS data sources, including, but not limited to, Excel, flat files (text, csv, etc.), and ODBC. Other responsibilities include:

- Build maintainable SSIS packages that use T-SQL tasks, C# scripts, etc.
- Develop performant stored procedures per the organization's coding standards
- Debug SSIS packages
- Deploy SSIS packages to development and production environments using the project deployment model
- Work with project team, SSIS Developers and end users
- Work independently and provide daily progress reports to the project team
- Attend, complete and demonstrate competency in all required HIPAA Training.

This is a contract position thru the end of 2022, with the possibility of extension into 2023 and/or conversion to FTE status with our customer. Although this position is fully remote, we are seeking candidates that reside in one of the following states: WA, CO, IN, VA, TN (other states are possible as well)

Required Skills


1. Must have in-depth proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services for all versions from 2008 - 2019. Seeking specific experience in the following:
A. SSIS
B. SSRS (big plus)
C. SQL Agent job configuration and administration using SSMS, and SSIS testing and problem resolution.
2. Must have in-depth proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Agent Jobs.
3. Healthcare Industry experience = Big Plus
4. Must have in-depth proficiency in SSIS deployments and upgrades
5. Must have in-depth proficiency in TSQL
6. Must be able quickly learn a large-scale enterprise environment
7. Critical thinker with extreme attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
8. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of data management best practices.
9. Ability to recognize and analyze data patterns and discrepancies.
10. Knowledge of data warehouse design and concepts.
11. Ability to learn and adapt to changing technology in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
12. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
13. Microsoft Certification a plus
