Elite Technical is currently seeking a Senior Analyst for in-depth screening of small business applicant proposals for foreign ownership, control, and influence (FOCI) in support of a federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program. The Senior Analyst will leverage their prior investigative experience in intelligence or law enforcement agencies or other investigation roles to add insight to processes and improve deliverables.

Responsibilities include:

- Required to research, analyze, assimilate, and evaluate all available open-source and classified information relating to an assigned proposal for review.
- Responsible for developing detailed risk assessment reports and summary of risk slides for board determinations.
- Assist in the oversight of day-to-day operations of the due diligence program, ensuring adherence to established procedures, timelines, and policy.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Represent the team in client meetings and discussions related to the due diligence program.


This position requires being on site 2 days per week in Crystal City, VA or our clients office in Tyson's Corner VA.

Required Skills

- Active Government Secret Clearance is ideal, if not must be able to obtain
- 10+ years doing investigative work in military or federal government intelligence, law enforcement, or other investigation roles
- Knowledge of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs a plus
- Ideal candidate will have Small Business Innovation
- Experience working in consulting or other client-facing roles
- Experience leading other team members in client-facing role
