Our client, a leading federal defense contractor is seeking a Senior DSP Systems Engineer responsible for developing and modeling algorithms (RF Systems), verifying their implementations, and analyzing their performance on a range of systems.
As the Senior Advanced DSP Systems Engineer you will, be required to analyze, design, develop, and test DSP algorithms implemented in hardware and software for RF-based systems.
The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services.
- Must be US Citizen due to work being performed
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (active Secret is preferred)
- BS degree in a STEM field and 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
- Knowledge of STAP, SFAP, or similar AJ algorithms. Must have experience developing a multi-channel anti jam algorithm from a mathematical perspective.-
- Statistical Signal Processing
- Multi-rate Signal Processing
- DSP for mitigating/processing RF effects.
- Work experience of algorithm development for the statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements utilizing techniques from Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory in addition to the below:
a. Signal processing architecture
b. Algorithm development (RF Systems)
c. Systems requirements analysis
d. Performance verification and validation
e. Fixed point model conversion for hardware implementation
f. Software/hardware partitioning and trades
g. Hardware/software implementation collaboration
h. Hands-on system performance verification and validation in the lab
