Our Client, a global leader in delivering diverse Technologies is seeking a QA Engineer for modernizing a legacy LAMP-based web application platform supporting high-volume transactional workflows. This role will establish and execute a regression-driven QA function to validate system behavior across current and upgraded environments. A substantial set of documented manual test cases already exists; the focus is to operationalize and extend these into a structured, repeatable regression framework. Some database performance testing is required as well.

Key Responsibilities:

- Experience with PHP applications or LAMP environments
- Familiarity with modernization/migration projects
- Technical Writing Skills
- Ability to read Code (JavaScript / PHP)
- Multi-environment comparison testing
- Familiarity with PHP Unit
- Redis/session-state awareness
- Basic AWS/cloud exposure

What You-ll Do:

- Convert existing manual test cases into a structured regression suite
- Construct performance tests for database transactions and reports
- Identify and prioritize critical business workflows
- Execute testing across current and modernized environments
- Validate backend data integrity using SQL (MySQL)
- Classify defects (regression vs legacy, severity, business impact)
- Implement targeted automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium)
- Document test processes and results
- Support GO/NO-GO decision points
- Mentor and transition knowledge to internal QA staff
