Our client, a leading federal defense contractor is seeking a Systems Engineers for their Undersea Mission Solutions business area in Canonsburg, PA. You will be a member of-a cross functional team responsible for the requirements analysis, definition and management, including but not limited to functional analysis, performance analysis, system architecture and design, and systems integration of ruggedized electronics equipment for the United States Navy and directly contribute to the technical design and production success of their programs.-

General SE activities:

- Dry Run Demonstrations and Inspections
- Document Reviews and Updates
- Test and Debug Activities
- Report Writing and Adjudications
- Code Development and Review
- Setup and Configuration
- Analysis and Verification
- Procedure Updates and Reviews
- Simulation and Modeling (mechanical, electrical, systems)
- Hardware and Firmware Support

Required Skills

- Must be US Citizen due to government requirement
- Must be able and willing to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (active Secret is preferred at time of hire)
- Requires a Bachelor-s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
- Agile experience preferred.

- Technical Background:

- Experience with complex, cutting edge technological contracts
- SysML/UML tools like MagicDraw
- Systems Engineering experience is required
- Experience with DOORS, MATLAB, Jira, and Agile methodologies
- Requirements Flow-down & Traceability
- System Architecture and integration
- Demonstrated skill driving the system-level requirements down to the design and test levels
- Able to work complex programs with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Demonstrated use and understanding of systems engineering strategies, principles, and measures
- Establishment and presentation of strategies and plans to internal and external customers
- Support failure investigation activities
