Seeking a Software Test Engineer for a leading national provider of federal defense drones, security drones, and public safety drones. The Software Test Engineer will uphold our client's commitment to excellence
and ensure their products meet the gold standard.

The position is 100% onsite in Sanford, FL, and our client is looking to onboard as a direct full-time employee.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, execute and monitor software testing activities
- Integrate hardware and software, electronics interface design, and communications
protocols.
- Collaborate with our software engineering team to develop code for testing, integration, and new embedded product development.
- Participate actively in product testing sessions.
- Provide crucial feedback to improve our software and integration solutions.
- Influence major advancements in tether-powered drone/UAS/autonomous solutions.
- Build and ensure the software quality of high-performance aerial systems.

Required Skills

- Must be US Citizen due to gov't requirement
- Bachelor-s degree in Software Engineering or similar
- Embedded systems development experience
- Experience with hardware/software integration and/programmable electronics
- Self-starter with effective problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
