Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with experience in cloud technologies, database management, and microservices architecture. This role involves designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting data pipelines, working with cloud-based data platforms, and managing large-scale production environments. You will also be responsible for on-call production support, including nights and weekends, ensuring system availability, stability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

•System Reliability & Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, analyze failures, and provide fast and accurate solutions.
•Production Support & Incident Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve production incidents, including implementing temporary workarounds and long-term fixes.
•On-Call & Weekend Support: Provide night and weekend on-call support to ensure uninterrupted system availability.
•Defect Analysis & Fixes: Collaborate with business architects, testers, and Tier 2 support teams to analyze defects and deploy rapid fixes.
•Scalability & Performance Optimization: Implement best practices for performance tuning, system stability, and cloud efficiency.
•Communication & Coordination: Keep team members, GL/PM, and stakeholders informed about critical issues and resolutions.
•Tool Development: Build automation tools to improve efficiency in production support and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•Programming: Strong proficiency in Java, Spring and Python.
• Cloud & Data Expertise: Hands-on experience with Couchbase, Postgres, Mongo, Cassandra and Oracle.
•ETL Development: Proven ability to build and scale data pipelines.
•DevOps & Automation: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Kafka, and cloud security.
•Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Expertise in tools like Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics/OTEL, and Splunk
•Good communication and presentation skills
