Our client, a premier federal defense contractor, is looking for a Software Engineer to join a cross-functional team at the forefront of cryptographic innovation.

What You'll Do:
* Design, develop, test, and maintain software for advanced cryptographic products
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the software lifecycle
* Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers to bring new capabilities from concept to deployment
* Contribute directly to systems that support national defense and security missions
- Due to the nature of work being performed, must be a U.S. citizenship and hold an active DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 3 years relevant experience.
- Experience in RUST and C/C++
- Experience in developing software on embedded platforms
- Experience working in an agile development environments
- Ability to lead the software development process
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
- Collaborative team player
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
