Software Engineer (Java)

Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has a long-term contract opening for a Sr. Software Engineer with strong Java and Web Server development experience in Scottsdale, AZ. You will be a member of a cross functional team providing support for Satellite Ground Systems.

Required Skills

- Must be US Citizen due to work being performed
- Must be eligible to obtain a DoD clearance
- Requires a Bachelor-s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Stem field and 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
- Agile experience preferred

Minimum Required Experience:
- Java Software Development
- Web-Services/Application-server software development

Desired Experience:
- AWS VN environment
- Maven build tools
- VSCode IDE
- REST full interface development
- Ground System Control
