Solutions Architect (FACETS G6 Integration) 


Elite Technical is seeking a Solutions Architect with specific focus in FACETS G6 Integrations. This position is a contract to permanent opportunity with our client, a major Healthcare Payor Organization in the Maryland/Metro DC area. Although this position is 99% remote (1 onsite meeting per QTR), we are seeking candidates that reside in one of the following states: DC, MD, VA, WV, NC, PA, DE, NY, NJ, TX, FL

We are seeking a visionary and highly technical Principal Enterprise & Solution Architect to lead the technological transformation of our core healthcare payer platforms. In this role, you will be the driving force behind modernizing our future-state enterprise architecture, specifically focusing on Facets G6 claims processing infrastructure. You will design high-performing architecture solutions, remediate technical debt, and influence senior leadership to invest in high-value technological acceleration. The ideal candidate brings extensive domain expertise in healthcare payer functions, advanced integration frameworks, and a proven track record of refactoring complex legacy platforms into simplified, resilient ecosystems. This is a high-level, strategic technology role focused on modernizing core payer systems, driving enterprise refactoring, and optimizing integration frameworks across complex healthcare ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Strategy & Innovation: Drive business value by innovating technological solutions that lead to tangible, measurable business outcomes.
- Define future-state architecture to accelerate strategic value delivery and tech modernization.
- Persuade key decision-makers and executive stakeholders to invest in architectural acceleration. Align technical solutions across multiple enterprise initiatives, products, and long-term roadmaps.
- Facets G6 Ecosystem Engineering & Refactoring - Architect core claims solutions covering Facets G6 real-time/batch processing, pre-adjudication validation, and claim-editing engines.
- Manage EDI data streams and end-to-end transaction data management configurations. Refactor enterprise systems to simplify architecture, reduce integration hops, and modernize data flows. Strengthen process controls and platform resiliency across high-risk core processing areas. Optimize provider data structures through comprehensive rationalization and cleanup. Plan retirement paths for legacy systems, managing risk during runout phases.

Required Skills


- 10+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect with the last 8 eights in the Healthcare / Claims Processing space
- Must have experience in both the Commerical and Federal Healthcare payor sectors
- Must have recent solution/domain architecture experience with Facets G6 real-time and batch claims processing, pre-adjudication validation, EDI-based transaction data management, claim editing engines, and third-party integrations with partner organizations that provide these services.
- Must have experiential knowledge on how to apply interoperability and integration best practices between Facets G6 and all data producers and data consumers within the enterprise ecosystem surrounding Facets G6.
- Must have experience with enterprise level architecture refactoring to resolve the following for Facets G6 claims processing
1. Architectural simplification and modernization
2. Strengthening controls and resiliency in high-risk processes
3. Reducing unnecessary complexity and integration hops
4. Provider data improvements and rationalization
5. Legacy platform runout and retirement planning

- Must have experience working with claims processing, enrollment, billing & payments, underwriting, partner programs, business operations, and benefit management business functions either in a commercial or government area (both preferred).
- Additional architecture experience in one or more technology platforms (Salesforce Health Cloud/Data Cloud, other Healthcare specific platforms, MuleSoft, Kafka, , Azure Fabric)
- Expertise with two or more architecture domains (enterprise architecture, solution architecture, software development, data, integration, interoperability, cloud, artificial intelligence) and their associated architecture frameworks, standards/patterns, methods and tools. Experience overseeing and driving third-party solution architecture engagements and outcomes.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, X12) and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, CMS, NCQA).
- Experience contributing to portfolio rationalization and/or technical debt remediation initiatives at an enterprise level
