Urgent need for a Cisco Wireless Network Engineer to work onsite at the US House of Representatives in SW, Washington DC. Seeking a true engineer level professional (CCIE/CCNP) responsible for a tech refresh of the wireless infrastructure.
The initial contract period is 6-12 months.
Engineering level skills on the following:
* 10+ years of Cisco network engineering experience with strong Cisco Wireless
* Wireless site survey experience to include Active, Passive and Predictive
* Wireless LAN deployment experience
* Understanding of network routing and switching protocols
* Understanding of Cisco unified wireless architecture and hardware
Qualifications:
* Cisco certification is preferred, not required - Cisco Certified Network Professional with Wireless specialization (CCNP-Wireless) or CCIE
* BS Computer Science, Engineering or other technical degree or equivalent experience
* Must be able to obtain a government Public Trust
* Must be willing to work 100% onsite at the client's office building in DC.
