Calling all DevSecOps Engineers with a Top Secret Clearance in the San Antonio, TX area.

Seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with an active DoD Top Secret clearance to support a long-term contract with the USAF. The DevSecOps Engineer will develop and manage the CI/CD pipelines of a wide variety of applications.

The position is remote with the need for training on-site during first 2 weeks and up to 1 week each quarter at Joint Base San Antonio (Lackland AFB). Our client is looking to onboard as a direct fulltime employee.

Responsibilities:

- Function as a technical expert across the team; planning and leading major technology assignments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a large enterprise that consists of hundreds of applications.
- Develop, test, and maintain containerized applications with a -security first- mindset.
- Create and maintain documentation for implementations.
- Learn new technologies and gain expert-level understanding of the latest approaches (autoscaled cloud-based systems, serverless architectures, cloud/on-premises hybrid solutions).

Required Skills

- US Citizen and possess a Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Reside in the San Antonio, TX area. Initial training at Joint Base San Antonio (Lackland AFB) with periodic on-site work thereafter (typically 1 week each quarter)
- Advanced understanding in agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience with:
o Git
o AWS Console and CLI
o DevOps
o Application containers
- 3+ years of experience with:
o IaaS/PaaS
o Platform Engineering
o Kubernetes
o GitOps
o IaC/CaC CI/CD Pipelines
o Automated testing
o Modern programming Languages such as: Java,
o C#, Python, Ruby, TypeScript, or Go
o YAML
- Must be certified in one or more of the following: CISSP, CASP+CE or CSSLP or able to
obtain within 30 days.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
(CKAD) certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with Platform One Big Bang is strongly preferred.
