Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has multiple openings for Flight Dynamics (FD) Systems Engineers responsible for common ground enterprise (CGE) system architecture, design and requirements for FD. Seeking SE's who can design the system and integrate the COTS products. You'll be part of a cross functional team supporting our nation's missile defense initiatives.

This role is fully remote with the ability to travel to Scottsdale, AZ or Pittsburgh, PA as needed.

Required Skills

- Due to the nature of work being performed, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Willing and able to obtain a DoD Secret cleareance
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
- Agile experience preferred.
- COTS tool experience with a.i. Solutions Free Flyer/Meridian or similar product
- MBSE experience
- System Design experience including orbital maneuver/burn planning, station keeping, orbit raising, collision avoidance maneuvers, and FD automation
- Experience with CCSDS (interoperability) orbital messages including Orbit Parameter Message (OPM), Orbit Ephemeris Message (OEM), and Orbit Mean-Elements Message (OMM)
- Experience with orbit analysis such as multi-satellite performance analysis
- SE that understands the importance of SE ownership "cradle to grave" on a fast paced system design program
- Experience supporting FD development, integration, and test
