Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has multiple long-term contract openings for Jr-Mid Systems Engineer configuration management and ITSM experience.

You will be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

Required Skills

- Must be US Citizen due to government requirement
- Must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance (active Secret is preferred)
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 2 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree.
- Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
- Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
- Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
- Experience with IT equipment configuration management databases
- Experience with managing the tracking and deployment of software updates across an enterprise
- Experience with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow
- Experience working with multiple software suppliers to manage and track their planned version update cycle, as well as other boilerplate SE types of responsibilities
- Experience with development and use of configuration management database
