Our client, a leading federal defense contractor is seeking Jr-mid Systems Engineers with an active DoD Secret clearance to support the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program. This role is onsite at our client's Pittsfield, MA facility, with flexibility for occasional hybrid work.
As a Systems Engineer on the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program, you'll be part of a cross-functional engineering team delivering hardware, software and systems solutions. This Systems Engineer role may focus on one or more of the following areas:
- Test & Integration Engineering: hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testing
- Requirements Engineering: documenting, analyzing, and managing system requirements
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): system modeling, simulations, and design analysis
- Hardware-Systems Engineering: design, integration, and troubleshooting of hardware systems
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (active Secret preferred)
- Requires a Bachelor-s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
- Agile experience preferred.
- Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
- Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools such as CAMEO, Magic Draw, etc.
