Trainer/Work Measurement/Procedure Analyst


POSITION PURPOSE:
To develop, update, maintain and facilitate training programs and work measurement standards for all business departments. Additionally, to support business areas by driving process improvement and accurate procedures.

NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position reports to the Senior Training and Development Specialist. This position is provided training guidance and mentoring from the Lead Trainer.

The incumbent is responsible for maintaining and updating training materials and documenting procedures and work measurement standards for each business unit.

This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the standards and training programs by incorporating changes in workflow or work-mix and making the appropriate adjustments as needed, using the QuickBase (or other) system and updating training materials when identified.

The incumbent is responsible for maintaining online procedure manual.

This position is intended to provide the flexibility needed in our fast-changing business atmosphere for standard development and training; which may be requested on an as-needed and often urgent basis.

The individual will participate with, or function as, a project leader for projects or programs directed at improving efficiency, productivity, and quality, as assigned.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop and facilitate in-house or hybrid training.
- Develop and disseminate work measurement standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training and development.
- Evaluate the integrity of standards on an ongoing basis.
- Perform workflow analysis and make recommendations for improved efficiency.
- Gain proficiency and fluency in all business unit work types.
- Address procedure requests and coordinate tasks to ensure our online procedure manual is current.

Required Skills


- BA degree (or commensurate experience) preferred.
- Excellent public speaking proficiency.
- Full understanding of healthcare processing systems (i.e. claims adjudication, data entry, imaging, workflow, etc.). The candidate does need a background in Health Insurance to include customer service and claims.
- Experienced in techniques associated with development, implementation and presentation of training and standards programs.
- Excellent oral, writing, and editing skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to positively influence and collaborate with business users and stakeholders.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving expertise.
- Ability to thrive in working independently and collaboratively.
- Proven capacity for developing workshops and seminar materials.
- Experience in processing claims, handling member and provider calls, familiarity with Health Plan enrollment, provider file, data entry and mail sort areas is a plus.
