Immediate need for a Senior Level UX Product Designer for our customer, a major healthcare insurance organization in the Federal Employee marketplace. This is a 12 month PLUS contract position, and will be 100% remote for the entire duration. We are specifically seeking a UX Designer that has strong knowledge/experience with User Research techniques and methodologies in order to support product centric related projects. Expectations, tasks & deliverables include:

- Lead relevant UX activities including persona development; user flow creation and documentation, wireframes, user journey map design and analysis, information architecture, interaction design, visual design and interaction testing & feedback
- Incorporate quantitative and qualitative UX research methodologies to convey complex technical and business requirements
- Establish best practices and develop a corporate process, standard and governance around UX;
- Strong visual and UX design skills from low fidelity to high fidelity detail down to the pixel;
- Designing screen layouts, interaction flows, mockups/prototypes;
- Identifying and solving usability and UI design problems;
- Driving and tracking adoption of usability test and enhancement;
- Must be able to work and collaborate closely with Product Owner, Business Analysts, and Developers;
- Must be able to multi-task, working on multiple projects;
- Stay on top of user/customer experience trends and best practices across interaction types (web, mobile);

Required Skills

- Bachelor or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors in Information Design, Human Centered Design, Industrial Design, Psychology, Graphic design or other relevant field.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional UX Design experience (Product centric related projects/experience would be a big plus, along with experience within a Healthcare Insurance organization)
-Strong User Research techniques/methodologies specifically related to a Software application project (not website design)
- Deep knowledge of user-centered design processes and methodology
- Experience on Interaction Design, interaction modeling, mental modeling, identifying user scenarios, and creating user flows, low- and high-fidelity designs
- Advanced wireframing and/or prototyping/visual design skills and knowledge of tools and methodologies
- Experience designing web applications and mobile solutions for enterprise platforms
- Ability to think at a high-level about product strategy and vision
- Experience in UX strategy, user research, interviews, surveys and usability studies. As well as experience creating user personas, journey maps, and empathy maps.
- Experience in UX analysis including conducting competitive analyses, market assessments and heuristic evaluations
- Experience in information architecture and taxonomies. Able to conceptualize navigation schemas, search schemas and application maps
- Experience in web analytics/Google Analytics and user feedback data to inform infrastructure changes and design enhancements
- Experience in usability testing, including creating usability test scripts, research methods, collecting feedback and developing design improvement recommendations
- Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills are a must
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a fast-paced software development environment with an ability to execute against aggressive timelines
- High energy level, enthusiastic, and eager to do what is necessary to be successful
- Highly creative and inquisitive; able to multitask effectively
- Stays apprised of user/customer experience trends and best practices across interaction types (web, mobile)
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript; ability to speak to developers about front-end in their language
