Elite Technical is currently seeking a eLearning Designer/Trainer in support of our clients internal training and development department. The eLearning Designer and Trainer will develop virtual training courses for internal staff audiences, and will also delivery the trainings in both virtual and in-person (Wash DC) settings.
**Expectations and deliverables include**
- Support the Learning & Development unit, working collaboratively with trainers, internal and external SMEs to design the course, along with delivery the actual training to audiences ranging from 15-300 attendees.
- Develops Application Training specific to instructional content for both Instructor Led Training and eLearning product development
- Storyboarding, authoring, and development of e-learning content and blended learning solutions
- Develop e-learning and blended learning programs, web-based training development, and asynchronous learning content utilizing Adobe Captivate
- Unit reports including but not limited to: cumulative learner scores, learner evaluations and course delivery analytics on an on-going basis
- Provides reporting to management on web-based training progression and completion, student usage, and instructor-led training completions
Our client is a premier Federal Health Insurance business and technology organization in Washington, DC. Although primarily remote, the selected candidate will need to report to occassional onsite meetings and trainings in our client's Washington DC office.

- Bachelors degree is Required
- Portfolio / Work Samples are Required
- Five (5)+ years of corporate virtual Training and e-learning course development is required. Knowledge of Adult Learning Theories
- Former Healthcare Insurance experience is highly preferred (Federal and/or BCBS is a preferred)
- Instructional Design Expertise (ADDIE, SAM, adult learning principles)
- Required Software Tools: Adobe Captivate, Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, articulate 360. Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Visio, PowerPoint etc..)
- Knowledge of SCORM/xAPI standards
- Web-based course training development expertise is required
- Experience interacting with internal and external SME-s to gather information for training curriculum development
- Preferred: Asynchronous and Synchronous training delivery
- Open to extensive Writing including instructional and technical
- Required Learning MGT Systems: PeopleSoft/Oracle, SharePoint, Panopto (Panopto is a big plus), WellSaid Labs
