Elite Technical is looking for 2 innovative and passionate product Engineers to impact the next generation mechanism design portfolio for one of its clients.
Successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
Supporting the design and development of new products and/or improving current products using engineering disciplines and tools such as Stage-Gate, Computer Aided Design, Test and Validation, Product Release, etc.
The goal is to produce products that meet our client's targets for performance specifications, cost and timing. (On Specification, On Time and On Cost)
The essential functions of this position are as follows:
Support the design and development of safety restraint systems and mechanisms using Stage-Gate New Product Development process.
Perform calculations in the fields of engineering mechanics, statics, dynamics, kinematics, strength of materials, or other disciplines in support of project requirements.
Provides guidance to supporting team members for designs, drawings, requisitions, etc. to meet regulatory, process, mechanical and project requirements.
* Support Customers with technical information and initiatives. This can include developing and/or creating: design concepts, CAD models, prototypes and technical reports/presentations.
Engage with suppliers to accomplish key outsourcing activities like part sourcing or contract design.
Develop and execute validation testing to qualify designs through the product development process.
Ability to oversee and manage multiple projects at a time and prioritize work.
Travel, domestically or internationally to suppliers, customers, seminars, or other destinations. Maintain a valid passport in the event of international travel. Travel not expected to exceed 15%.

* 3-5 YEARS EXP
* Solidworks 2018 (transitioning to 2020)
* AP/QP, DVP&R, FMEA
* Plastic Stamping/Sheetmetal
* Exp with prototype builds
(+) Mechanism Design experience
(+) familiarity with Stage Gate (a 5 step design business case process)
