Immediate opportunity for a Java/J2EE Developer to support our customer, a major Federal Healthcare Insurance organization in Reston VA (100% remote for now due to COVID, but will be onsite in late 2021/early 2022). This is a long term contract opportunity with our client. Responsibilities Include:

- Responsible for the detail technical design, development and implementation of systems
- Works with business analysts, product owners and team members to utilize our client-s processes and requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality web-based technical solutions.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience per the following:

- Must have experience with Java and J2EE in developing Enterprise Level Web Applications and Restful Web Services based on Spring MVC Frame work.
- Must have Java development experience with ability to develop unit / integration test cases using Junit /TestNg.
- Must have strong experience in continuous integration within DevOps environment
- Must have extensive experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies..
- Must have ability to work independently.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good to have experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
- Good to have experience in working with GIT/BitBucket.
