Cisco Wireless Engineer

Seeking a Cisco oriented Wireless Network Engineer for a 6 month contract to work onsite in Catonsville, MD. The Cisco Wireless Engineer level will be part of a team responsible for providing network and wireless engineering including comprehensive Cisco Wireless Controller settings and troubleshooting skills, Cisco AP programming, Cisco ISE for authentication and roaming of devices.

The position is 100% Onsite. The initial contract term is 6 months with the potential to extend or convert to FTE with our customer based on job performance and business need.

Required Skills

Qualifications:
* Must be US Citizen or Green Card per customer requirement
* Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA-Wireless) or Cisco Certified Network Professional with Wireless specialization (CCNP-Wireless) - preferred - not required.

Engineering level skills on the following:
* Deep understanding with Cisco Wireless and Cisco ISE
* Wireless site survey experience to include Active, Passive and Predictive
* Wireless LAN deployment experience
* Understanding of network routing and switching protocols
* Understanding of Cisco unified wireless architecture and hardware
