Full Stack Software Developer

Immediate, direct/FTE opportunity with our client, a leading provider of aircraft compliance and health management services to the global business aviation industry. Our client is seeking a full stack software developer who can assist with building a digital business that will streamline the exchange of parts and services and create substantial value for both our client, and the aviation industry at large. This is an exciting new venture and a unique opportunity to contribute to and be a part of building a completely new business that is incubated within a large, stable, mature company. In this role, you will work within a small Agile Scrum team, assigned to various product lines. During this time, you will be faced with the challenge of creating new applications, as well as fixing, updating, and modifying legacy software. The system works heavily with JavaScript, .NET, C#, AngularJS and/or jQuery and the MS Suite of technology. You MUST be a strong devoted coder. This is a hands-on position. The client wants someone who is focused and passionate about coding and development.

Our client can onboard a candidate in the following areas: Long Island, NY; Merrimack, NH; Florida or Maine. If located in Florida or Maine, this position will be remote. However, the selected candidate will need to work out of the NH or Long Island office 1 week per quarter and for their very first week of employment for orientation related activities. If local to Long Island, NY or Merrimack, NH areas, the candidate will be expected to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days work from home).

Required Skills

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Seeking a minimum of 4 years of relevant, hands-on development experience
- Highly proficient with Microsoft development stack including C#, ASP.NET, and Visual Studio is required
- Strong working experience with JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks (ExtJS, jQuery, Angular, etc.), CSS and HTML (preferably ExtJS) is required
- Strong Agile/Scrum framework understanding is required
- Solid understanding of objected-oriented design and software engineering principles.
- Good working knowledge of coding and architectural design patterns (MVC, MVVM) is a big plus
