Requirements Analyst

Our client, a premier Federal Healthcare organization in Washington DC has an immediate job opening for a Requirements Analyst with a solid knowledge of Healthcare Claims Adjudication and/or Benefits processing experience. Day to day tasks and deliverables include:

* Requirement Analyst to support the maintenance and upgrade efforts of Claims Adjudication & Benefits processing systems
* Conduct walkthroughs with internal and external teams.
* Elicit requirements and authoring business requirements documents
- Business Rules Development
- Functional Requirements Documents
- Context Data Flow Diagram
- Glossary
- Standard Operating Procedures
- Document -AS IS- and -TO BE- processes
* Produce business functional requirements documents, user interface specifications, use cases, and/or data dictionaries

Required Skills

- Bachelors Degree (Health administration; business administration; software engineering or related degree) is required
-Seeking a minimum of 7 years of Requirements Analyst related experience i.e: writing/gathering requirements
-Must have Healthcare Insurance Industry knowledge (Benefits or Claims Adjudication is preferred)
-Must have excellent attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast pace, pressured environment with short deadlines (critical)
- Proven ability to elicit, document, analyze and verify requirements.
- Proven ability to work well as a team with exception communication skills.
- Must demonstrate understanding of industry standard Business Analysis Best Practices.
- Experience in business process analysis, Work flow, task analysis, user acceptance testing and requirements analysis.
