Our client, a premier Federal Healthcare organization, has an urgent need for a ETL Ab Initio Developer to provide hands-on work designing and implementing data integration solutions for data warehouse and business intelligence systems. We are seeking candidates with hands on experience dealing with large volumes of data and able to move data to different sources. Additionally, we are seeking candidates the can design high performance ETL graphs, and has basic knowledge around Big Data related technologies. Responsibilities Include:

-Work with the Cloud migration team and leads to migrate ETL from On Prem to Cloud and support testing efforts.
-Work on tasks assigned and provide feedback

Required Skills

- 6+ Years Experience / hands-on work designing and implementing data integration, Big Data, and/or business intelligence solutions along with hands-on Ab Initio ETL experience in a work (professional) setting.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, decision support systems (DSS), information engineering, business administration, or other related discipline is REQUIRED. Master-s degree in a related discipline is a plus.
- Experience in design, development and tuning industry leading ETL, Big Data, and/or Business Intelligence software tools in data intensive, large scale environments.
- Hands-on MicroStrategy report and dashboard development experience
- Hands-on development experience with Hadoop and the Hadoop ecosystem including tools such as Hive, Spark, Spark Streaming, Kafka, Sqoop, Flume, etc.
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills like 3rd normal form and dimensional modelling
- Strong DB2, Java, and UNIX skills
- Understanding and working (hands-on) knowledge of newer or emerging trends such as Big Data, Columnar databases, NoSQL, Hadoop, MapReduce, social media, data visualization, XML, and unstructured text is a plus.

Preferred Experience:
-Prior On Prem to Cloud migration experience
-Executing POC-s and recommendation on new technologies
-Abinitio on AWS experience
